Kleve, June 9, 1999. Spectro Analytical Instruments announces the commercial release of its new CCD based laboratory Arc/Spark Spectrometer - SPECTROLAB Jr.CCD at this year's GIFA convention in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The SPECTROLAB Jr.CCD is designed to provide customers with quantitative quality analysis in high through-put environments to reduce waste and improve production efficiency. Utilizing Spectro's optical system the SPECTROLAB Jr.CCD provides multi-matrix analysis in as little as 15 seconds for all common base metal and steel applications from cast iron and nodular cast iron, brass and bronze, through to aluminium alloys.
Tom Blades, Spectro's President added [that] "We are particularly pleased with the product launch of this accelerated development program which was possible through the combination of concurrent engineering at Polycon, Spectruma and Spectro. As such it verifies not only the on-going synergy of our recent strategic acquisitions but also underscores Spectro's reputation as the market's innovator."
