Successful analysis applications include; crude oil, gasoline, reformulated gasoline, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, phenol, lubricating oils, residual oil, gas oils, waste oils, wear metals in oils, marine fuels, jet fuel, heating oils, additives and base stock.
The technologies employed by SPECTRO (XRF, XRT, ICP and E-CHEM) are discussed. Several XRF, E-CHEM and ICP methods are EPA and ASTM approved. The SPECTRO on-line process monitors are available for both high pressure and low-pressure applications and the measurement of sample streams with high temperatures (up to 392 F and 200 C) is possible.
