Kleve, Germany -- March, 2003 -- SPECTRO Analytical Instruments, a leading global supplier of spectrometers, has introduced the new Smart Analyzer Vision software for the SPECTRO CIROSCCD ICP-OES spectrometers. Combining “one-click” routine operation with new functionalities, Smart Analyzer Vision boosts productivity and takes full advantage of the SPECTRO CIROSCCD analytical capabilities.

Method wizards, predefined method templates and intuitive help functions guarantee fast and easy development of new analytical methods. When connected to a SPECTRO Auto-sampler, the integrated sequence editor allows for automated unattended operation, even for complex measuring tasks.

Unlike conventional ICP software, Smart Analyzer Vision can store the full spectra raw data for each analysis, allowing method and sample results to be recalculated and reprocessed at a later time. Other features include:

  • Intuitive MS-office-like design
  • “One-click” routine operation
  • Fully automatic unattended operation with intelligent event handling
  • Wavelength-based full spectrum analysis
  • Advanced reprocessing of original measurement data
  • Automatic background interpolation mode
  • Full EPA, CLP compliance
