On-line Liquid Analysis
Some typical liquid and slurry applications are:
  • Petroleum products such as Sulfur and other elements in Diesel, Gasoline, Crude Oil, Fuel Oil etc.,
  • Plating bath composition such as Cu, Au, Ni, Co, Zn etc.
  • Liquid catalysts such as Co, Mn, Br, Fe
  • Slurries such as Paper pulp (Ca); Clay slurries (Fe, K etc.); Mining slurries (Cu, Ni, Pb etc.)
  • Waste effluent streams (U in effluents)
  • Solvent extraction in mining operations
You present us with the analytical problem and we give you the solutions. SPECTRO offers you a choice of different liquid analyzers that can be packaged to suit exactly your application:

600(T) Analyzers

The SPECTRO 600(T) on-line elemental analyzers are designed to meet the specialized needs of process industries. These hardened industrial gauges provide rapid, reliable, and simultaneous analysis of up to six elements in a process stream. A wide range of flow cell materials are available to ensure compatibility with your process streams.

The 600(T) series can accommodate either single or multiple sample streams, each with a dedicated flow cell where the XRF measurement takes place. When cross contamination can affect analysis, multi-stream configuration is the optimum solution.

682(T)-HP Analyzer

The Model 682(T)-HP measures high pressure (up to 800psig/ 55bar) and/or high temperature (up to 392F /200C) sample streams. This analyzer usually does not require a sample conditioning system and is designed specifically to analyze high viscosity liquids like crude oil or heavy fuels where fouling of flow cell windows with paraffin or similar substances can occur. The stream being measured flows upward in a stainless steel pipe between the X-ray tube source and the detector heads. The 2-inch (5 cm) diameter flow cell is specially made to withstand high pressure.

Complete On-line Solutions

Systems are packaged in NEMA 4X (IP65) rated stainless steel enclosures for indoor or outdoor installation. Optional purge as well as heating and /or cooling of the analyzer enclosures are available. SPECTRO can also supply turn-key solutions with sample conditioning and recovery systems.
