SPECTRO xSORT

SPECTRO xSORT is a compact, ergonomically designed, handheld energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer for high throughput elemental testing, screening and analysis of a broad range of materials in widely varying locations, environments and conditions.

It employs innovative and efficient components proven for the demanding tasks of handheld sample excitation and signal detection. Top quality manufacturing and an attention to details are the basis for the unique precision, speed and safety of this system that delivers laboratory-like results onsite.

For non-metal applications, with the SPECTRO xSORT is it possible to generate laboratory-like results for all relevant elements from Al to U in a single measuring cycle that lasts just a few seconds.

For metal applications, up to 41 elements can be conducted within only 2 seconds, except for the light elements Mg, Al, Si, which require a longer measurement time.

Only 10 seconds in addition are necessary for the sorting of various aluminum and magnesium alloys. During this process even the light elements, such as Al, Mg, Si, P and S are measured in air – without complicated additional techniques like helium flushing or vacuum, simplifying operation decidedly.

The instrument has a rechargeable battery and a robust housing. When not in use, it can be carried comfortably in the holster supplied with the system.
