X-ray fluorescence analysis is an established method for the analysis of cement and other materials in manufacturing processes in the cement industry. The instrument requirements are stipulated in various standards and regulations. With the SPECTRO XEPOS, SPECTRO provides an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (ED-XRF) spectrometer that is very economical and that can analyze 13 oxides in raw materials and cement with good accuracy and reproducibility. The instrument can achieve a performance as described in ASTM-C114.
The ED-XRF spectrometer SPECTRO XEPOS provides excellent detection limits for trace element analysis for a broad range of analyses typically required for alternative fuels. For the analysis of varying matrices in alternative fuel samples, the SPECTRO TurboQuant methods are used to determine the elemental concentrations with an accuracy fit-for-purpose. The calibrations are based on EN 15309 and ASTM D5839.
